They use the latest equipment to translate your texts into documents that have the tone and format you’ve requested. Our translators all translate into their mother tongue.
In addition to the in-house team, Vertaalbureau Bothof has a worldwide network of around 1500 specialist freelance translators. Our system for selecting these translators is based on the methods used in the translation departments of big international organisations – reason enough for many customers to make us their preferred agency. Our alliance with a number of professional European translation agencies as part of ETC Brussels NV enables us to draw on an even larger international network of translators.
Contemporary translators have access to more resources than just the traditional
hard-copy dictionary. For legal translations, those resources include EURODICAUTOM
and CELEX. EURODICAUTOM is an Internet databank of terminology and abbreviations
run by the European Union. The CELEX databank gives access to European directives,
regulations etc. in the languages of the various member states.
The translators also use translation
tools to enhance the quality of their translations and as a further
guarantee of consistency.
It goes without saying that all translations are thoroughly checked for accuracy,
style, terminology, completeness, spelling, rendering of nuances etc.
