Translation of web sites

The explosive growth of the Internet has resulted in more and more customers asking whether we can translate web sites. Vertaalbureau Bothof has had several years’ experience working with HyperText Markup Language (HTML), the language used in web site construction. On request, we can translate the text part of your web site straight into HTML. Our translators are well versed in all the common HTML editors, including Microsoft FrontPage. We will, of course, adapt any meta tags to the target audience and test the site for functionality (internal and external hyperlinks, scripts etc.) after the translation. You can also come to us for the translation of eXtensible Markup Language (XML) and eBooks.

Many customers find it difficult to send the files used to construct the site, often because the site is run by an external webmaster. Vertaalbureau Bothof has special software for downloading complete web sites. You need only give us the URL (the web address) and we’ll download the whole site and base our quotation on it. This method also assures you that all the text is actually translated.
